Setelah beberapa waktu yang lalu melaksanakan eksebisi dengan Tim Basket Bhayangkara Polda Lampung, Persatuan Bola Basket Indonesia (Perbasi) Lampung nampak mengadakan sparing basket dengan atlet dari Pusat Pelatihan Olahraga Pelajar (PPOP) Ragunan dan Atlet Pra PON DKI Jakarta pada Senin – Selasa, 11-12/09/2023 di Jakarta.
” Kegiatan ini dalam rangka menggalakkan pembinaan dan mengasah kemampuan para pemain dan atlet basket agar dapat mengukir prestasi di berbagai event”, ujar Ketua Perbasi Lampung Fahrur Rozie Sanjaya di Jakarta.
Lebih lanjut Ozie, sapaan akrab Fahrur Rozie Sanjaya yang didampingi oleh Gindha Ansori Wayka, Ramadhani dan Redi Novaldianto selaku pengurus Bidang Hukum dan Pembinaan Atlet Perbasi Lampung menjelaskan kegiatan ini dilakukan berkaitan dengan peningkatan skill yang harus dimiliki oleh atlet basket Lampung saat bertanding di lapangan.
“Terhadap upaya meningkatkan skill pemain dan atlet basket ini maka diperlukan upaya maksimal diantaranya mengadakan pertandingan persahabatan atau sparing dengan tim basket yang lebih berbakat dan senior, sehingga dari kondisi tersebut dapat dilakukan evakuasi guna perbaikan ketahanan fisik dan mental para pemain”, tambah Ozie
Ditanya terkait tim yang dikirim dalam sparing di Jakarta dua hari tersebut, Ozie menjelaskan pesertanya merupakan pemain dan atlet yang berasal dari binaan Perbasi Lampung yang terdiri dari 4 Putra dan 4 Putri ditambah dengan manajer sekaligus pelatih (coach) yakni Nicho Nanditha Nugroho.
“Tim yang kita kirim untuk ikut dalam acara Sparing di Jakarta tersebut berasal dari pemain atau atlet basket yang dipersiapkan untuk menghadapi event kejuaraan PON mendatang yang berasal dari binaan Perbasi Lampung” jelas Ozie
Terpisah, Manajer sekaligus Coach Nicho Nanditha Nuhroho menjelaskan dari kegiatan ini harapan terbesarnya adalah terciptanya kemampuan dan kemahiran baik dalam hal fisik maupun mental pemain atau atlet basket selama bertanding di tiap event.
“Pemain dan atlet basket yang mengikuti kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan diri baik fisik maupun mental dalam rangka persiapan menghadapi event yang lebih bergengsi karena jika selalu sparing atau melakukan latihan-latihan instan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan para pemain dan atlet basket”, tutup Nicho.
